Fishing Trip #85 June 26, 2015 6:00 AM

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. I'm a sucker for fishing in the rain and I couldn't resist the chance to cast out my line this morning. The rain and winds were strong at times, blowing my rain hood off and making my line difficult to see. I tried my spinnerbait for a while but it was a 6 inch plastic worm that the fish wanted this morning.

Weather conditions: 66 degrees and heavy rain with strong winds from the south.  The sky was cloudy with thunder and lightning. The lake was choppy.

  • Caught 1 largemouth bass using a Wacky Rigged Plastic Worm.

Catch and Release.

He is a good friend of our family and he has lived in the area for many years. He gave me a few tips on the best spots to find big fish.
