Fishing Trip #160 October 30, 2015 5:50 AM

Went fishing for about 40 minutes on my way to work this morning. It was cold and clear with lots of stars visible. I saw a meteor fall in the northern sky. There was frost on the ground all the way down to the lake. With the colder fall weather, there is less and less fish activity.

Weather conditions: 35 degrees, pre-dawn sky with no wind.

Fishing Trip #159 October 29, 2015 6:00 AM

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. It was cold and clear. The moon was so bright that I could see my shadow everywhere I went and also read the fishing limits sign near the lake. I had two on and landed one. Nice morning overall.

Fishing Trip #158 October 28, 2015 5:50 AM— 50 Consecutive Fishing Trips!

50 Consecutive Fishing Trips with at least one catch!! 

This morning's catch and trip to the lake marks 50 consecutive times I have caught at least one fish. The last time I did not catch any fish was August 3, 2015 (almost three months ago). These 50 trips have resulted in me catching 116 bass. Who knows how much longer this streak will continue. The fall weather is getting cooler each week and the fishing will no doubt slow down. Went fishing for about 40 minutes on my way to work this morning. It was warmer today than yesterday.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. Chilly air at the lake. I caught two small bass—but a bass is a bass. :-)

Went fishing for about 2 hours after a short morning at work. I hiked all around the lake and really enjoyed the warm weather.

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. I thought I was going to get "skunked" but I finally got a bite and landed a feisty bass. Nice

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. Crisp cool morning with a cloudy sky. It was very windy today also. I only had one bite all morning, but I hooked the bass and landed it. Yeah!

Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning. Crisp cool morning with a clear sky and lots of stars visible. It was very windy which made casting from the shore somewhat difficult. I saw a shooting star in the eastern sky—awesome!
