Went fishing for about 20 minutes on my way to work this morning. Calm and quiet morning. The surface of the lake was like glass. Last fishing trip in July.

Weather conditions: 64 degrees, clear sky and no wind.

• Caught 1 largemouth bass using a Wacky Rigged Plastic Worm.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. Foggy morning.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. Cloudy morning with lower temperatures.

Weather conditions: 70 degrees, cloudy skies with rain coming in and a light breeze from the south.

Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning. Nice morning with lower humidity. 

Weather conditions: 79 degrees, clear skies and a light breeze from the south.

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. I had a few bites and caught one. I think the excessive heat is driving the fish into the deeper parts of the lake. 

Weather conditions: 79 degrees, partly cloudy sky and a light breeze from the southwest.

Fishing Trip #100 July 23, 2015 5:45 AM

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work with Mary. This was my 100th fishing trip this season. Construction workers were on the scene when we arrived but we were able to catch a few fish before they got into full swing.

Weather conditions: 70 degrees, light mist and no wind.

• I caught 1 largemouth bass using a Wacky Rigged Plastic Worm.
• Mary caught 3 largemouth bass using a Wacky Rigged Plastic Worm (bringing her season total to 37 bass).

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. Nice fishing conditions. I missed having Mary with me. 

Weather conditions: 61 degrees, light fog and no wind.

Fishing Trip #98 July 21, 2015 5:45 AM

Went fishing with Mary this morning on my way to work. We were at the lake for about 50 minutes. Nice fishing conditions. I had trouble with my tackle but it was beautiful this morning with mist on the water, cattle lowing, bullfrogs croaking, and a duck quacking—lots of wildlife activity. I had a couple of bites and one on the line but no fish caught. Mary skunked me with 3 nice largemouth bass! Nice job Mary!!

Weather Conditions: 67 degrees, no wind.

Mary caught 3 largemouth bass using a Wacky Rigged Plastic Worm (bringing her season total to 34 bass).

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. No construction this morning and the fish were biting. 

Weather conditions: 77 degrees, clear sky and a light breeze from the south.

• Caught 1 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.
