Fishing Trip #132 September 16, 2015 6:00 AM

Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning.  I had a very large fish on the line and got him close to the shore but he kept thrashing back and forth in the water and managed to get off the hook. Man, I would have loved to have landed that one! That definitely got my blood pumping.

Weather conditions: 64 degrees with light winds from the south.

• Caught 2 largemouth bass with a with a Strike King Midnight Special Spinnerbait.

Fishing Trip #131 September 15, 2015 6:00 AM

Went fishing for about 20 minutes on my way to work this morning. Lots of wind, rain and thunder.  The lighting was too close for comfort so I packed up and headed for the van before I wanted to. I had four fish on and landed three of them.

Weather conditions: 58 degrees with rain, thunder, lightning and steady 10 mph winds from the south.

• Caught 3 largemouth bass with a with a Strike King Midnight Special Spinnerbait.

Fishing Trip #130 September 14, 2015 5:50 AM

Went fishing for about 40 minutes on my way to work this morning. It's my first time back to the lake in a week because of a shift change at work last week. I had three fish on and landed two of them. Caught a 13 and a 15 inch bass.

Weather conditions: 62 degrees with steady 15 mph winds from the south.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on this rainy Labor Day. Caught 1 nice bass.

Weather conditions: 72 degrees, rain with light breezes from the south.

• Caught 1 largemouth bass with an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning. Caught 1 nice bass.

Weather conditions: 72 degrees, clear pre-dawn sky with light breezes from the south.

Caught 1 largemouth bass with an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. Caught 3 nice bass.

Weather conditions: 70 degrees, clear pre-dawn sky with 5 mph winds from the south.
