Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning. The lake was lit up with the light of the moon—beautiful morning to be outdoors.

Weather conditions: 54 degrees, pre-dawn starry sky with no wind.

• Caught 1 largemouth bass with a a Strike King Midnight Special Spinnerbait.
• Caught 1 largemouth bass with a with a H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Fishing Trip #140 September 29, 2015 5:45 AM

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. The fish were not biting today. Only had one hit and I hooked & landed him.

Weather conditions: 63 degrees, pre-dawn sky with no wind.

Went fishing for about 45 minutes on my way to work this morning. Nice weather this morning for fishing.

Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning. Slow fishing at first but they started hitting after I'd been there for about 20 minutes. The last one I caught was a 15-incher! He put put up a nice fight too!

Went fishing for about 50 minutes on my way to work this morning. I had tackle troubles with the wind—my spinnerbait got blown into the bushes up shore from where I was fishing and I eventually had to break my line. I was able to follow the broken line up shore and retrieve my lure. Whew!

Fishing Trip #132 September 16, 2015 6:00 AM

Went fishing for about 35 minutes on my way to work this morning.  I had a very large fish on the line and got him close to the shore but he kept thrashing back and forth in the water and managed to get off the hook. Man, I would have loved to have landed that one! That definitely got my blood pumping.

Went fishing for about 20 minutes on my way to work this morning. Lots of wind, rain and thunder.  The lighting was too close for comfort so I packed up and headed for the van before I wanted to. I had four fish on and landed three of them.

Weather conditions: 58 degrees with rain, thunder, lightning and steady 10 mph winds from the south.

Went fishing for about 40 minutes on my way to work this morning. It's my first time back to the lake in a week because of a shift change at work last week. I had three fish on and landed two of them. Caught a 13 and a 15 inch bass.

Weather conditions: 62 degrees with steady 15 mph winds from the south.
