Went fishing for about an hour.

Weather Conditions: 75 degrees with a light breeze from the east, bright sunny sky.

No fish caught.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning.

Weather conditions: 47 degrees with no wind, pre-dawn sky.

Caught 1 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Went fishing for about 25 minutes on my way to work this morning.

Weather conditions: 37 degrees with no wind, starry pre-dawn sky.

Caught 1 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Went fishing for about an hour.

Weather Conditions: 42 degrees with a slightly overcast sky.

No fish caught. One solid strike.

Lots of wildlife activity. Deer feeding, geese flying over head, and fish jumping.

Went fishing for about 30 minutes on my way to work this morning.

Weather conditions: 35 degrees with light winds from the north. Partly cloudy with a few stars shining through.

Caught 1 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.  Landed another fish but it jumped down the bank and into the water before I could get a picture.  Had 2 more solid strikes with one of them on the hook for a few seconds.

Went fishing this afternoon for about 25 minutes.

Weather conditions:  51 degrees with strong winds from the northeast. Slightly overcast.

Caught 1 Largemouth Bass, 8 inches long with Panther Martin on first cast.

Went fishing this afternoon for about an hour.

Weather conditions: 52 degrees slight breeze, overcast.

Caught 2 largemouth bass. The biggest was .81 lbs. Both caught with a Panther Martin spinner.

Went fishing with my daughter Mary. She bought her fishing license today and wanted to try it out.

Weather conditions: 67 degrees, no wind, pre-dusk sky.

Caught 3 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.
Had a 4th on but it spit the hook right at the shore.

Stopped on my way to work for about 40 minutes.

Weather Conditions: 37 degrees, no wind, pre-dawn sky.

No fish caught.

I used two rods, one with braided line and the other with monofilament line. Midnight Special spinnerbait and the H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait.

Tried my hand at fishing in the rain after work today. Fished for about 45 minutes.

Weather Conditions: Light rain, 38 degrees with 10 mph ENE winds.

No fish caught and no bites.

I used two rods, one with braided line and the other with monofilament line.

Midnight Special spinnerbait and the crank/swim bait baby bass.

Weather Conditions: 40 degrees, 10mph winds from the north, pre-dawn sky.

I caught 2 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait. I had a third one on, but it spit the hook.

This afternoon I stopped by Johnson Lake for about an hour.

Weather Conditions: 54 degrees, a light breeze, sunny sky.

I caught 1 crappie and 2 largemouth bass using an H2O XPRESS Shallow Running Jointed Square-Bill Crankbait (see photo below).

Weather Conditions: 45 degrees, strong winds from the north, pre-dawn sky. 

No fish caught. I was using a Strike King Midnight Special Spinnerbait.

Fishing Trip #1 March 16, 2015 5:35 AM

This morning on my way to work, I initiated my new Missouri Fishing License. Johnson Lake is a small 12 acre pond maintained by the Raymore Parks and Rec Department. 

Weather Conditions: 54 degrees, strong winds from the southwest, pre-dawn sky. 

I caught 1 largemouth bass (about 12.5 inches in length) using a Strike King Midnight Special Spinnerbait.

2015 Missouri Fishing License

Tonight I bought a 2015 Missouri Fishing License. The weather has warmed up and the lakes and ponds no longer have ice on them. Look out fish! Here we come.
